Our Shared Sacrifice is a youth-led Canadian public history initiative dedicated to recovering overlooked soldiers of the First World War. Daniyal and Harris Elahi founded and direct the project. Both are Royal Canadian Army Cadets with 337 Queen's York Rangers in Toronto. The project's published research is carried by The Hill 70 Memorial, the Vimy Foundation, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, and Veterans Affairs Canada. Educational programming has been delivered in classrooms and cadet corps across Ontario and internationally.
